The pair met on the set of the Yorkshire-based soap opera in 2014 and the rest has been a complete love story – with the pair getting engaged and welcoming a bouncing baby boy.

Laura explains that it “wasn’t love at first sight” when they first met

During an interview with Inside Soap the actress opened up about her life with Mark and what it was like when the pair first met.

Adding that the pair kept in touch after he worked for a short while on set, with them being just friends at first.

She admitted that it “wasn’t love at first sight” but they did end “growing closer” after staying in touch, with Laura adding to the publication that they “never looked back”.

Following the trial the smitten couple got back to wedding plans before finding out they were expecting.

“Really got to feel the love of true friends.
