She burst onto our television screens in 2001 as Jude Carlyle in the BBC soap opera Doctors but actress Natalie J Robb is best known for playing Emmerdale ’s feisty farmer Moira Dingle.
The Scottish babe, who has played the role for ten years, is no stranger to a steamy fling and recently revealed a series of hilarious sex confessions.
From a major injury gaffe while shooting racy sex scenes with her co-star Jurell Carter on the ITV soap to opening up about her steamy sex life with co-star Jonny McPherson, Daily Star has taken a look at some of the 47-year-old’s raciest sex confession.
Sex scene gaffe
The feisty actress made a hilarious confession back in 2019 when she appeared on ITV’s Lorraine and told viewers about an injury she received while filming a sex scene.
Natalie revealed that she broke her little toe while shooting racy sex scenes with her co-star Jurell Carter on the ITV soap as the tiny caravan they had to film in was too small.
The actress, 47, plays lively Moira Dingle, confessed to Christine Lampard on the chat show: “I actually fractured my little pinkie toe in the caravan doing love scenes.
“It was all somersaults, I soldiered on!” Her co-star Jurell added: “The caravan is so small, we’ve had to do lots of intimate scenes in there. I’m 6’3…”
Natalie, who has been part of several explosive storylines during her time on the soap, added about her successful ten-year career as Moira: ‘I’ve been very very lucky. I’ve been through the mill, I have to say.’
It comes after Natalie revealed dating can be ‘difficult’ as some men expect her to be like her bed-hopping alter ego, nicknamed Mucky Moira, in real life.
The star admitted that she gets a lot of attention from the opposite sex, but has had some ‘creepy moments’ from men who confuse her and her character.
Speaking about her dating dilemma, she told Mirror Online: “In this industry it is very difficult to know if people want you to be you.
“I play characters but it is not real – I have come across it and it is a bit frightening. I have had some creepy moments and it did put me off.
Racy revelations
Despite claiming she was ‘happy being single’ the Scottish beauty appeared on chat show Loose Women back in 2020 and joked about her steamy sex life with co-star Jonny McPherson.
The star spoke about the tryst after her secret lockdown romance was revealed after the pair grew close during filming.
Natalie said the relationship “just kind of evolved” after the Emmerdale pair grew closer on a charity trip – which led to their first date in January that year.
While Natalie admitted the pair sometimes bickered as they locked down together, she joked that it was all worth it as making up was great.
She said: “We’ve had a few wobbles, I’m not going to lie… but the making up was fantastic.
“We’re very compatible, but he does leave lids off everything and doors open. He just leaves doors open, that’s about it.
“We kind of gave each other space, we did our daily exercise. I’ve got a dog, which he’s very fond of, so we took turns doing that. Luckily it’s worked.”
Natalie explained how the pair were only seeing each other for two months when the lockdowns came in to place, the pair decided to bunker up together.
The star then went on to explain how they grew close during a charity to Lapland.

She said: “We just kind of evolved. We did a charity where you go out with children who have cancer and you take them to Lapland.
“We were on that, and it’s a day trip, so you’re there and back in a day, and from then on we just sort of got to know each other better.
“I’ve worked with him and things, but I’ve got to know him better and just went on from there. A few text messages and things like that.. We went out for a meal and the rest is history.”
Jonny and Natalie split last year.
