Emmerdale star Natalie Ann Jamieson, who plays Amy Wyatt in the popular soap, revealed that set designers use “plastic flowers” to imitate Spring in the village.
Speaking with Lorraine this morning (5th Dec), Natalie confirmed she’d completed filming up til February.
When asked if she would get time off to have a relaxing Christmas, she said: “Yes, with filming we’ve pushed through January and we’re up to about February now”.

A curious Lorraine offered a suggestion for how they make the set look like it’s Spring rather than Winter.
Lorraine jokingly asked: “Have they had to put up plastic daffodils?”
Natalie replied in a suggestive manner, saying: “When the spring flowers pop up they’ve had to make that happen somehow!”
Natalie’s character Amy is set to return to the Emmerdale village after fleeing with her and Cain’s son Kyle, who admitted to killing Al Chapman after the explosive episodes that celebrated the show’s 50th anniversary back in October.
So far, Kyle’s secret is still underwraps, with only Moira, Amy and Cain knowing the truth about Al’s death. Cain, played by Jeff hordley, was arrested and pleaded guilty to Al’s murder, protecting his son.
Elsewhere, following the departure of Al’s former girlfriend Kerry Wyatt, her daughter Chloe Harris is on a quest to find out who Al had been having an affair with, which viewers know is Chas Dingle.
Chas and Al spent the evening of her mother, Faith’s death together at the Yellow Albatross Hotel, a fact that Chloe is set to find out in the upcoming Christmas episodes.
Chas is also set to confide in Belle, who was the first person to find out about the affair and confess that she spent her mother’s dying day with Al.
