Emmerdale viewers are convinced that Amelia Spencer isn’t actually pregnant.
The teenager recently agreed to look after baby Thomas, but as her dizziness and nausea got worse, a disorientated Amelia collapsed to the floor, dropping Thomas in the process.
The youngster believed the dizzy spells were being caused by the syrup she was taking to lose weight, however she informed in last night’s episode (July 21) that she is in fact pregnant.

In Friday night’s instalment, Amelia headed to church where she sobbed over the news she is expecting a baby.
Viewers aren’t convinced however, and have begun speculating what is behind Amelia’s behaviour, with some believing the cause is far more heartbreaking.

Taking to social media, one user asked: “Has Amelia got a brain tumour? #Emmerdale.”
“I think they got it wrong Amelia not pregnant like faye from coronation street and it can happen,” claimed another.
A third pointed out: “Amelia not pregnant maybe they got it wrong because it kim tate pregnant with will taylor baby in emmerdale 50th anniversary not Amelia and it the truth so no.”

A fourth theorized: “Look, since Amelia has been bellyaching about not being able to attract a boy, there was either something in that syrup that mimics a pregnancy, or the writers have decided to create a virgin pregnancy, and Amelia’s real name is Mary.”
While many believe Amelia is not pregnant, others have started speculating who the father could be, with the currently imprisoned Noah a strong contender.

“Amelia is 15, Noah is 18…So this is where #Emmerdale are heading…,” one wrote.
Another asked: “IS Noah the dad? #Emmerdale.”
Several have pointed out however that Noah can’t be the father due to Noah being in prison, with one saying: “I reckon Samson could be Amelia’s baby father? It can’t be Noah. 1. Noah has been in prison so how could they have sex.”
“Hmmmm have i miss something or has Noah been having Conjugal visit in prison,” a second viewer questioned.
