Emmerdale couple Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) find their romance on the rocks next week as the latter makes a shocking discovery.
Rhona knows that time is running out to tell Marlon the truth about Marcus Dean’s (Darcy Grey) identity, however, things get more complicated when Marcus informs Rhona that she’s been named in his dad Pierce Harris’ will.
When Kim Tate (Claire King) stops by to speak with Rhona and learns of Marcus’s identity, she’s rattled.
Rhona does her best to explain everything about Pierce and Marcus, but Kim can’t believe what she’s hearing.
Kim heads off as Marlon enters confused, catching only the tail-end of the confrontation.
Rhona finally comes clean to a stunned Marlon. He leaves, needing time to digest everything that he’s just been told.
Devastated Rhona fears for their relationship and Marlon tells Paddy Kirk (Dominic Kirk) that he’s unsure if he’ll ever be able to forgive Rhona.
When Marlon and Rhona cross paths, there’s a war of words.
When Rhona insults Marlon’s ego and accuses him of victim shaming her, Marlon’s left hurt.
Overseeing, Marcus pleads with Marcus to not take his anger over Pierce out on Rhona.
Marlon is struck deep by Marcus’ words but will he want to reconcile?
Rhona’s hellbent on making things right between her and Marlon and decides to propose to him.
After evil Pierce’s will reading, Marcus sees no point in hanging around the village any longer.

Regretful, Ethan suggests a meet up before Marcus leaves, but Marcus rejects the offer.
Ethan later attempts to secure another date with Marcus, but his attempts continue to fall flat.
The next day, Ethan’s encouraged when Rhona and Marlon both give him their approval in pursuing a relationship with Marcus.
Will he be able to get Marcus to change his mind before he turns his back on the village for good?
