Former Emmerdale actor Mike Parr showed off his incredibly toned body as he took to social media to celebrate his 36th birthday.
In an Instagram post, the actor reflected on the past year, in which he damaged cervical vertebrae in his spine. He detailed his body transformation and how he now feels “better than ever.”
In the image, Mike was pictured wearing only a pair of tight black shorts, displaying his muscular torso, arms and legs.

He also included a “before” snap of him topless, wearing a mask.
He captioned the image: “36 today. And what a year it was.
“From hurting back back in November the day before I was supposed to move house and 2 days before I was set to fly to Morocco for a job.
“You can see in the 2nd pic that I was in pretty bad shape. My hips were all off line. Ciatic nerve was trapped and I damaged my C2&C3. I thought it was gonna hurt forever.
“I quit the gym and now have just been working out with dumbells at home and I feel better and stronger than ever. Good diet. Fasting. Cold showers and just everything in moderation.
“Thank you to everyone who has helped me this year. I love my life and I love everyone in it.”

The actor played the role of Ross Barton in the Emmerdale, from 2013 to 2018, where he was nominated for sexiest male soap star on multiple occasions. He recently revealed he will be returning to the stage, after beginning his career in a production of Blood Brothers. He is set to star in the comedy Rita, Sue & Bob Too, returning to St Helens Theatre Royal in Merseyside.
He recently starred in Sky One police drama, Bulletproof.
