ITV’s Emmerdale promises viewers a week of intense drama, unexpected proposals and untold secrets, as certain characters will be in for a turbulent ride.
Emmerdale spoilers can reveal that Noah Dingle will finally have his day in court after he went too far with Chloe Harris.
But with his mum Charity knowing the truth about his stalking, will Noah do the right thing and plead guilty to his heinous crimes?
Elsewhere David Metcalfe wants to elevate things to the next level in his relationship with Victoria Sugden. Will she be happy to accept his advances?
Meanwhile, Suzy Merton’s secret link to Holly Barton is uncovered but will the truth be enough to keep Suzy away from the drugs once and for all?
Noah court drama
Noah’s solicitor informs him of his defence plea for the hearing which will take place the next day, however the young lad simmers with resentment when hearing the news but holds his counsel.
But when mum Charity hears that her son doesn’t want to plead guilty, she is doubtful things will turn out well.
Later on, an annoyed Amy Wyatt glowers at Noah as he passes her and the two exchange words.
Back at home, angered by his run-in with Amy, Noah tells his mum that he wants to run away but Charity doesn’t agree to go along with Noah’s plan and in a fit of frustration he heads out leaving Charity very concerned.
A while later, Sarah Sugden finds Noah sitting by himself and she gets him to try and see sense by attending his court hearing the next day.
Hearing what she has to say, Noah takes her words on board but he is still uncertain about whether he’s going to plead guilty or not – and Charity is anxious.
Later at court, as the legal advisor reads out the charges that Noah is facing, he asks him what he has decided to plead.
But will he still decide to plead not guilty?
Surprise proposal
Overwhelmed by Victoria’s encouraging words about their relationship, David’s determined to move things to the next level by proposing to her.
However, Dad Eric implores David to take his time and tells him not to rush into anything with Victoria.
Despite his father’s advice, David informs him that he needs him to cover at the shop as he’s seen the perfect engagement ring for Victoria at the jewellers in town.
Meanwhile at HOP, oblivious of David’s plans, Victoria jokes with Amy about what David’s big talk could be about.
Later on when Victoria arrives to his romantic surprise in the woods, David can hardly contain his excitement. As he goes down on one knee and proposes, Victoria’s left speechless but how will her response be what David is looking for?
Barton secret
Feeling as if she’s at a crossroad, Leyla Cavanagh can’t help letting slip to Vanessa Woodfield that Suzy knew Holly.
But Vanessa is completely shaken after learning that Suzy lied to her and begins to question how serious their relationship is.
Knowing that she’s lied to Vanessa about the cause of Holly’s death, Suzy thinks Vanessa’s better off without her leaving Vanessa shocked.
Feeling like she may have messed things up by coming on too strong, determined Vanessa pleads with her not to give up on them.
Later on, Leyla’s happy to hear that Vanessa managed to convince Suzy to stay and give their relationship another go.
While at the pub, when Vanessa gets up to get a drink, Suzy tells Leyla that she’s going to start living a cleaner life. However Suzy’s change of lifestyle leaves Leyla concerned about where she’s going to get her next drug fix.
The following day, Leyla suggests that Suzy and Priya Sharma come over for brunch and a team building exercise, but Suzy suspects Leyla is up to something.
Now that Holly’s overdose is still playing on her mind, and the thoughts of her relationship with Vanessa going through another rough patch, Suzy informs Leyla that she’s staying off coke.
But Leyla is secretly alarmed when Suzy tells them that they should both quit taking the substance while they’re ahead and tips the remains of the cocaine down the sink.
Will Leyla change her mind?
