Emmerdale actress Sally Dexter has revealed there are problems in store for Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) following Faith’s devastating death.
The soap star’s final scenes as the beloved Faith Dingle aired last week when she decided it was time to end her own life following her battle with cancer.
Upon discovering her terminal disease had spread to her brain, Faith took a number of pills before slipping away in scenes that left fans of the ITV soap heartbroken.

Sally caught up with Daily Star at the Inside Soap Awards on Monday (October 17) and spoke about what is in store for Cain and Chas now that they have lost their mother.
The 62-year-old actress said: “Well in one way it’s been a wonderful thing for Cain because there’s a whole wound that’s been healed between him and his mum at last, that all his life has been a problem to him.
“But there are problems ahead. Problems ahead which he has to deal with and he could really do with his mother.”
Recalling filming the scenes for Faith’s heartbreaking death, Sally revealed she found what followed Faith’s death as the hardest part.
“Actually after I was dead was the hardest thing of all because Jeff and Lucy respectively were so brilliant,” she explained.
Gushing over her co-star’s, Sally added: “To have people you care about as much as I care about them, sobbing in the way that they were, I just wanted to join in with them but of course I was dead so I couldn’t!”
It appears things didn’t go completely to plan during the filming of Faith’s emotional exit as Sally revealed there was an unexpected visitor on set.
The West End star said: “When we were filming that, she knocked on the door once and there was an answering knock, and we were filming this in a house that was meant to be haunted and this happened twice.”
She went on to say that they had to restart the scene twice because of the eerie noise.
