A celebrity psychic has sealed the fate of which city will host the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, as fans up and down the country struggle to contain their excitement ahead of the celebrations.
Previously, seven cities were shortlisted as potential hosts for the global music competition – Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle.
But on Tuesday afternoon (September 27), the organisation bosses announced they had narrowed down their nationwide search to two final cities to host the epic event next year.

It is now a battle between Liverpool and Glasgow for the honour to present the annual televised contest with contestants travelling from all over the globe to perform to a worldwide audience.

Now, in an exclusive interview with Daily Star, celebrity psychic Inbaal Honigman has confessed that it will be a close call between the two cities.
She said: “It’s a tightly run race between Liverpool and Glasgow, and the Tarot is offering little in the way of a clear winner!”
When looking at Glasgow’s prediction, the professional psychic revealed: “For Glasgow, I’ve drawn the Hermit card, number IV. It’s a fantastic card of being a shining light for others, and being a sought-after location for highbrow events.
“It is aligned with the Star sign of Virgo, organised and wise. If the Hermit card had to be a musical style, it would be a ballad.”

Looking at the card drawn for Liverpool, she explained that there is a lot more positivity and excitement shown for the bubbly city in the North West.
She continued: “For Liverpool I’ve got the Lovers card, number VI. This Tarot card represents a union of opposites, positive choices and a cheeky demeanour.
“It’s a fun destination for a flamboyant crowd. The Lovers card is linked with the star sign Gemini, playful and entertaining. If the Lovers card had a musical style, it would be disco.”

After looking at the cards in detail, Inbaal predicted Liverpool would host the Eurovision Song Contest next year.
She concluded: “I’d call Liverpool the winner, because the Eurovision Song Contest is associated with fun and disco, not so much with wisdom and tidiness.”
There have been many famous musicians to have come out of the Northern city, including the 1960s band The Beatles, Elvis Costello and Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
But they have tough competition to beat after Glasgow producers hit musicians such as Franz Ferdinand, Lulu and Mogwai.
