She wrote: “Ben Ross Boardley 29/06/22.

“A perfect miracle given to us on a day when so much was taken away.

“Named after the very best of men. He will do them so proud, I know it already.”

Unsurprisingly, Brooke’s adorable social media post confirming the safe arrival of her bundle of joy has been inundated with messages from her fans.

One fan penned: “Oh Brooke, he’s beautiful x”

Another gushed: “Oh wow, angels are definitely walking with you.”

A third person posted: “Most certainly a sign from above and so incredibly precious. He is so beautifu.l “

While a fourth social media user said: “I think Ben sent you a gift to help ease your grief on this day.”

Ben’s birth is extra poignant as it comes on the 14th anniversary of his uncle’s murder.

The actress has named her son Ben after her late brother

Brooke’s brother and his friends were out in June 2008 near his family home in Islington, North London celebrating his GCSEs when he was attacked by Juress Kika, Jade Braithwaite and Michael Alleyne.

The trio of teenagers spotted Ben and his mates walking to get a taxi and cornered him.

They stabbed him 11 times in just five seconds. In 2009, all three got life after being convicted of murder.

Brooke, who married husband Simon back in 2017, made no secret that she wanted more kids following the birth of her daughter 18 months ago.

She said: “I come from a really big family and I’m so close to my siblings.

“Having someone to go through life with is really important and I’d love to give Elsie that. There’s plenty of room in our home for another little one.”
