Talking about funny times on set, Fred shared a comical moment which involved Gordon losing his cool and dropping a load of plates.
Fred explained: “He dropped a plate and then he dropped another one and there was a scene in the series and I sit there for 20 minutes laughing and my belly was hurting I was laughing that much.
“And Gordon was looking at me and if he had daggers instead of eyes then he would have stabbed me.
“He couldn’t believe that we were laughing and if he saw what we saw then he would be laughing too.
“That’s why it was funny because no one usually sees Gordon in this sort of situation. He went into the kitchen and come to the table like a dinner lady on speed with a broom up his bum. It was my funniest memory.”
Fred also shared chef Gordon and other ITV co-star Gino D’Acampo’s most annoying habits.
“Gordon is always right which can be annoying at times and sometimes he is wrong. He doesn’t understand that but we just say nothing,” Fred said.
“Gino doesn’t want to do anything he wants to do what he wants to do and it’s like ‘c’mon mate’ and he’s like ‘I’m not doing that’ and it’s like ‘f*** sake, Gino’. But there’s nothing you can do you cant change them.”
