Prepare to have your mind blown, as Netflix is about to release its next big true crime documentary, The Tinder Swindler.
The gripping documentary movie follows three women who were involved with a mysterious Israeli man called Simon Leviev who claimed to be a billionaire diamond expert, that they each met on Tinder.
Simon would wine and dine the women, splashing out on lavish trips with private jets and at top restaurants.
But soon things took a dark turn when he claimed his life was at risk, and he told the women he needed money as he was in trouble.
The women speak of the thousands upon thousands of dollars he asked for, which they went along with as they all believed he was really in danger.
They really believed that his life depended on them, before the police got involved and exposed his lies.
Soon, so-called Simon starts threatening the women, blowing up their phones with cruel messages and voice notes.
The explosive trailer teases that there’s far more to the story than meets the eye though, and that they may get payback, as one says they took their chance to “swindle the Tinder Swindler”.
The documentary is from the team behind the incredible Don’t F*** With Cats, with plenty of drama promised.
The synopsis teases: “Notoriously known as The Tinder Swindler, he has seduced and swindled young women for millions and is a fugitive from justice in several countries.
“One swipe could change your life.
“This is the ultimate fairytale gone nightmare. Follow three women who decided it was time for payback.”
It adds: “Posing as a wealthy, jet-setting diamond mogul, he wooed women online then conned them out of millions of dollars. Now some victims plan for payback.”
The incredible documentary is released on Netflix on February 2.
