This isn’t the first time Keegan has had admirers flock to her comments under a social media post.

A few weeks ago, she posted a series of great pictures from her trip to Australia on Instagram and was hailed as “the world’s most beautiful woman” by Instagram users.

She was in Sydney to film the upcoming BBC drama Ten Pound Poms where she will star as a 1950’s nurse, Kate Thorne.

Keegan, who is married to former The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright, recently revealed that she still “isn’t used to” fame after starring as Tina McIntyre, who first appeared onscreen in Corrie in 2008.

“Even now, 15 years on, you never get used to being famous,” she said.

“One minute I walked out of the Coronation Street gates and no one knew who I was. Then, as soon as my first scenes were on screen, I remember walking out the gates and getting stopped and asked for an autograph.

“I just live every day as it comes. Hopefully I can keep doing what I’m doing.”

Keegan, who went on to be in shows like BBC’s Our Girl after her Coronation Street exit in 2014 after the death of her character, said that she would like to do more theatre acting.

“With TV, there’s always a chance to reshoot a scene, make a creative change, but with theatre there’s no safety net.”
