Love Island star AJ Bunker has opened up to Daily Star journalist Carly Hacon about her post-show experience and revealed that she has had “pay pig” requests from eager fans.
Speaking exclusively during a Facebook Live interview, AJ admitted that she thinks she had more attention prior to her Love Island appearance.
However, the former star has received some very unusual requests since she left back in 2021.

When asked whether she has had “much attention since leaving the show,” AJ replied: “When I first came out, I had people that wanted to be ‘pay pigs’ which I thought was so odd, I’d never heard of this thing before. I was like: ‘What? What is this? What is going on?’”
AJ continued: “Do you know what, I feel like I got more interest before! I don’t know if it’s because guys get shy, people are scared to put themselves out there. I definitely feel like I did beforehand, or I’m just super unlucky.”
Carly questioned whether AJ had ever seriously considered taking up the “pay pig’s” offer, but admitted she didn’t because she “is the most non-sexiest person”.
She revealed: “I was curious, I thought: ‘Is this thing legit?’ But I was too nervous, so I didn’t do it. I wouldn’t even know where to start with that!”
The former islander claims she “looked into it” but “for it to work,” the dominant party has to “talk to them in a certain kind of way”: “I thought: ‘I can’t be that person, I can’t do it!’ I’m the most non-sexiest person, with flirting. What they were expecting, I don’t know if I could do that.”
She claimed that the “pay pigs” want to be “demoralised” and that they wanted AJ to “be horrible, really dominant and demanding” towards them, which she “couldn’t do” as she’s “too nice a person for that”.
Carly questioned whether her upcoming Celeb MMA fight would give her the confidence she needed to take on the role.
AJ contemplated the question and admitted there may be a possibility: “I don’t know, let’s see! If I continue getting messed around by guys…”
She concluded with: “I might get this new dominance, this new anger about me! When I’m in the ring, when I’m training, it’s a completely different story. This [attitude] goes, in there it’s full on as hell.”
