Geordie Shore The Reunion Series is showing many of the original cast members return after years apart.
It’s been a while since a lot of the cast have seen one another, so it was always going to be a big event for the stars themselves – but they were even more shocked to hear how invested fans are.

Speaking to Daily Star, Charlotte shared her excitement about the brand new series – but one thing she couldn’t wrap her head around was how excited the fans are.
She said: “The fact we’ve been able to do this for us and the fans is absolutely mega. The response has been wild on Twitter. Have you seen the response to the tweet MTV did? So many replies!”

Pal and co-star Holly Hagan added: “We underestimate it. With everything that we do and everything we put out, we’re just normal people. We don’t expect people to get excited about us being ourselves on TV.
“Yes, it was brilliant, back in the day. We understood at that time period why it was so big. But now it’s like, well people have kind of forgotten about that. People have grown up.

“We didn’t know if we were going to have the same reaction because the fans back then have all grown up now. It was a shock that people are still interested.”
The Geordie Shore girls were left shocked that, not only were people interested, but fans were invested as they waited to hear what everyone has been up to – and see drama unfold.
So far viewers have found out about Charlotte’s pregnancy and have seen her battle with whether or not her ex Gary Beadle will come for the reunion.

Both Holly and Marnie are also expecting to see their exes return to the house for a big party – and despite everyone moving on since they left the show, the nerves and tensions are high.
Gary Beadle’s return still remains unconfirmed – but fans are more eager than ever to see the star walk through the door and reunite with his old pals.
Geordie Shore: The Reunion returns Tuesdays at 10pm on MTV and Paramount+.
