Glastonbury fans amazed TLC 'haven't aged' after their youthful appearance on stage

Glastonbury crowds and viewing audiences at home were treated to a performance from RnB duo TLC at Glastonbury and fans were amazed at their incredibly youthful appearance.

Rozanda Chilli Thomas, 51, and her bandmate, 52-year-old Tionne T-Boz Watkins, took to the West Holts stage early Friday (June 24) evening and treated the crowds to their classic hits songs.

The girl group, who were at the height of their fame in the 90s, left audiences stunned and they took to Twitter to post about their age-defying beauty.

One wrote: “Watching TLC at Glastonbury and realising those girls ain’t aged in 25 years!”

Another added: “Chilli hasn’t aged a day since 1995, man.”

A keen follower of the band tweeted out: “Calming myself watching TLC on Glastonbury. Loving that Chilli hasn’t changed her face or her clothes since 2002.”

Other fans couldn’t help but gush over their favourite band and noted that Chilli “looks like she’s in her 20s” and that their performance was “insane”.

Another even claimed even though they “both look fabulous”, Chilli “looks like she’s popped out of a time machine from the 90s”.

The American band was formed in 1991 and have released iconic hits such as Waterfalls and No Scrubs, but the pair were originally a trio.

The third girl, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, was killed in a car crash in 2002, aged just 30 years old.

Back in 2020, Chilli spoke about how the girls had “never ever had a thought” about replacing their beloved friend.

She appeared on Good Morning Britain and told the show: “We heard from so many people in the business. That surprised us more than anything. The fans, not so much. It was never ever a thought to replace her, no-one in TLC can be replaced. Nobody can fill those shoes.”

Chilli and T-Boz insisted that they would not accept anyone in the group to take her place, but noted that it took a lot of convincing to let them go ahead as a duo.

Chilli revealed: “It took a while for people to get it, but through touring it keeps her memory alive. We never mute out her raps or anything.”
