A royal expert on Good Morning Britain was accused of for “raking it in” off Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ’s “misfortune” following the launch of his upcoming memoir, Spare.
During Monday’s visit (October 31) to the ITV studios, the 51-year-old welcomed viewers back to the show alongside her guest co-host Ed Balls to discuss the headlines in the news this morning.
One of the biggest stories on everybody’s lips is the launch of the Duke of Sussex’ latest memoirs which fans anticipate will include a slew of explosive secrets about the royal family after stepping down as a working royal.

But things quickly turned tense after the presenting duo welcomed royal writer Tom Bower onto the show alongside historian and writer Tessa Dunlop.
Tom started the discussion by arguing: “We don’t know what the book is going to say, we’ve heard what he’s said before – he and Meghan and Oprah Winfrey said 17 inaccuracies and lies [previously].
“It was hugely damaging to the Royal Family. The couple in Montecito who are making their fortune solely by damaging and destroying the Royal Family to promote their own fortunes, they own prestige and their own brand.
“I don’t think they should be allowed to call themselves the Duke and Duchess anymore.”
It was at this point that Ed cut in with: “But Tom, you’ve written books in which you’ve made money and both were quite damaging to the Royal Family.
“You’ve not got a title we can strip from you but you will have had lots of people who did talk to you off the record almost certainly with titles.
“Now, Harry’s doing it on the record and you want to remove his titles, but what about all your sources?”
The author hit back with: “That’s not the same at all” as the presenter fired back with: “Of course it’s the same!”
It didn’t take long before the pair engaged in a fiery clash on air as Tessa accused the author of “raking it in” off the couple’s “misfortune” as Tessa accused him of “rank hypocrisy”.
She argued: “That is precisely what it is. You talk about them making their fortune in Montecito arguably Harry with good reason, he’s had a pretty rough ride in his young life.
