Susanna Reid was left speechless during the latest episode of Good Morning Britain as she clashed with Edwina Currie over a cardboard cutout of departing PM Boris Johnson.
The presenter, 51, returned to the ITV programme on Monday (September 5).
Hosting the show alongside Martin Lewis, Susanna interviewed former MP Edwina Currie regarding her views on the cost of living crisis.

As Edwina argued that the situation was “not a catastrophe”, Susanna and viewers grew distracted by a cardboard cutout of Boris which appeared next to Edwina during the interview.
Commenting on the cutout, a stunned Susanna said: “Just before we carry on, do you have a cardboard cutout of Boris Johnson in your home?
“Sorry, are you at home with a life-sized cardboard cutout of the Prime Minister?”
Joking that he was “on his way to Balmoral”, Edwina then revealed she had acquired the cutout for a “fundraising party.”
The former I’m a Celeb star explained: “We had a fundraising party a month or two ago and he insisted on attending.”
Of the departing PM, Martin Lewis added: “At least he’s staying there so he’s got a role somewhere. Delighted to see it.”
As the conversation moved on to radiator insulation, Good Morning Britain fans slammed Edwina’s decision to appear on the programme alongside the cutout.
One fan wrote: “Edwina Currie on #gmb assuming she expects to be taken seriously. She has a cardboard cutout of Bojo behind her.”

Meanwhile, a third said: “Edwina Currie and a cutout of Boris Johnson. Please tell me I’m dreaming.”
