Rylan Clark says working with his mum is risky.
When they record Celebrity Gogglebox, he is terrified about what Linda might say.
And he is convinced if some of her most outrageous comments were aired on the Channel 4 show his TV career would be over.

Rylan, 33, told the Daily Star Sunday: “My mum forgets the cameras are there. Within five minutes of us starting, she’s gone. And that’s when I worry.
“She is very much herself. But there’s being yourself and then there’s taking it so far that you could ruin your son’s career!
“I can’t repeat the things she says. I’m always like, ‘You can’t say that, mum’. The s*** she comes out with… if they were aired, I wouldn’t have a career. I’m going to have to buy a gag off the internet.”
Since they first did Celebrity Gogglebox together in 2019, Linda has become a big hit with viewers.
They love the 67-year-old’s no-nonsense attitude and hilarious reactions.
Rylan joked: “People don’t give a f*** about me anymore. They are more interested in my mum.”
The good news for fans is the pair want to keep doing the show for years to come.
He added: “Gogglebox is perfect for us. We do it at my house and she feels comfortable. For the time being, we’re happy doing it.
“It’s the easiest job in the world. I don’t have to do anything. I just give her a side eye. My mum is the best. And she has no idea how great she is.”
Celebrity Gogglebox is the latest in a long line of high-profile projects for Essex lad Rylan.
Since finding fame on X Factor in 2012, Rylan has hosted more than 15 TV shows, starred on the big screen and signed a string of lucrative advertising deals.

And last week he won Broadcaster of the Year at the LGBT Awards.
He said: “It’s been 10 years since I was on X-Factor so this is a special year. I have got a lot coming up including a new show, so I’m really excited.”
Rylan is set to mark a decade in TV with a new autobiography Ten. It is expected to include his take on the breakdown of his marriage to police officer Dan Neal last year.
And it sounds like his showbiz rivals will need to watch out.
He revealed: “Lots of people should be worried. They know who they are. I’m a very respectable person.
“I’ve got dignity. It’s a shame not everyone has.”
