Gogglebox's Shirley Griffiths leaves fans in hysterics as she makes 'diamond' sex confession

Gogglebox fans were left in hysterics after Shirley’s “diamond” sex confession.

The beloved Welsh star returned alongside husband Dave for Friday night’s (May 27) instalment of the popular Channel 4 show.

While watching an episode of the Amazon series Love in the Jungle, Shirley couldn’t help but make a hilarious confession to her partner Dave.

The show explained that during mating season, a male red deer will cover itself in mud to appear bigger and more intimidating to its competition.

Shirley asked: “Would you want to go through that just to have a bit of sex?”

As the show dived into mating rituals, contestants began roaring at each other.

Dave attempted to wow Shirley by giving her his best “roar”, but Shirley immediately quipped: “Oh no thanks, no thanks.”

Dave responded: “Come on, that’s bound to be doing something?”

That’s when Shirley came back with: “I can 100% say it’s not doing nothing for me. You could have your d**k dipped in diamonds and roar, and it wouldn’t do nothing for me.”

Dave tried his luck once more as he said: “And the best set of antlers you’ve ever seen?”

“No!,” Shirley exclaimed.

Fans were straight to social media to share their appreciation towards Shirley’s hilarious confession.

One wrote: “Great line from Gogglebox tonight..” you could dip your d**k in diamonds and I still wouldn’t want it.”

“My favourite quote of the year from gogglebox: “you could have your d**k dipped in diamonds and that roar still wouldn’t turn me on,” another penned.

Factory cleaner Dave and retail worker Shirley joined Gogglebox in 2015 and have remained a fan favourite on the show ever since.
