Former I’m A Celebrity winner Harry Redknapp has opened up about what it was like for the family after Jamie’s high-profile divorce from Louise.
Back in 2017, the former showbiz power couple decided to cut ties after 19 years of marriage following the singer’s stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
The pair share two sons together, 17-year-old Charley and 13-year-old Beau but finally called it quits after their divorce was finalised one year later.

Now, in a rare interview with The Times, the former English football manager has spoken out about the impact their separation had on the family.
Speaking to the publication, the 75-year-old confessed it was a “difficult” time for the family when the pair ended their marriage.
He said: “It was difficult when Jamie and Louise [Redknapp] got divorced because both sets of our parents were married until they died, so we weren’t used to that.”
In an attempt to save their relationship both Harry and his wife Sandra attempted to “interfere” in an attempt to help mend their relationship before it was too late.
And it appears as though the King of the Jungle managed to talk some sense into the former flames, as he explained how both Jamie and Louise have remained “friends” four years on.
He added: “We tried to interfere, though, and have all managed to stay friends. Everyone seems happy now.”
When looking back over his own relationship with his wife Sandra, he confessed that the pair have had their fair share of difficult times.
Harry explained: “When we’ve had difficult times, like our miscarriage or when Pat died, we’ve always supported each other.”

The star went on to reveal how forgiving his wife has been over the years, even after the reality star reversed over her foot with his Range Rover.
He confessed that in a complete accident, the sports star accidentally drove over her foot and trapped it under the wheel of his luxury car which needed surgery on her ankle and at least six weeks of rest to recover from the injury.
Harry confessed: “Probably the worst thing I’ve ever done was when I accidentally ran Sandra over. Most women would want to kill their husband but she never held it against me. That’s who Sandra is.”
