Holby City fans predict exit for Henrik Hanssen in heartbreaking scenes ahead of finale

Holby City fans are predicting the exit of a major character after emotional scenes saw Henrik Hanssen make a shocking decision about his relationship with his love interest, Russ.

After Russ makes an attempt to meet with the father of his grandchild, Larry, he soon learns that his daughter Billie is planning to move to Leeds to start a new chapter of her life.

Larry tells a devastated Russ that his daughter thinks he is suffering from depression and fears the pressure of a baby will worsen his condition.

In an attempt to change Billie’s mind, Henrik pleads with her to stay before she admits the real reason she is leaving, telling him she believes he and Russ have a future together and she doesn’t want to stop them from finding happiness.

Henrick Hanssen could be making a departure from the BBC medical drama very soon as he makes a devastating decision about his relationship with Russ

In a shocking twist, fans were shocked to see Henrik tell Russ to leave Holby and follow his daughter to Leeds because he does not love him and their relationship would never work.

But as Hanssen realises the mistake he has made and how desperately he wants Russ in his life, fans believe Henrik will decide at the very last second to go with them.

“Henrik! I am betting on him also moving to Leeds…although there’s still time…!” added a fourth.

Elsewhere in the episode fans saw Jac finally reveal the truth about her terminal brain tumour to Fletch and the rest of the staff.

After learning her efforts to save the hospital have succeeded, Jac is treated to a celebratory surprise party, but in emotional scenes her nose started to bleed and her friends realise that the brain tumour was back.

“It never left,” she told them. “I’m dying.”

As Jac collapses and is rushed into care, Fletch makes a mysterious phone call at the end of the episode, telling a unknown person that Jac is dying and needs their help.

With only three episodes left before the show gets canned, only time will tell if Jac survives, and if Henrik will leave Holby behind to pursue a life with Russ.
