Holly Willoughby has shared a grim confession involving one of her ITV colleagues.
The Dancing on Ice presenter recently appeared on her This Morning co-star Alison Hammond’s By The Light Of The Moon podcast, where she shared a horrifying backstage truth.
Alison, 47, and Holly, 41, were discussing the ‘transformative’ glam team on their shared daytime show when Holly recalled an incident which saw her text Ruth Langsford an apology.
Holly revealed that she was forced to use the Loose Women star’s toothbrush after being caught in “desperate” need of one backstage.
Replying to Alison’s compliments about the glam team, Holly said: “I haven’t had to use your toothbrush yet.

“There was a time I had to text Ruth once. I went, ‘I’m so sorry, I’ve just used your toothbrush.’
“I was desperate. I replaced it.”
Alison laughed at Holly’s admission, with Holly also being reduced to giggles, before questioning the presenter further about the incident.
She added: “Was you desperate babes? You can use my toothbrush anytime, just let me know.”

An amused Holly replied: “Thanks, same, same.”
Speaking highly of the ITV glam team earlier in the episode, Alison said: “They literally transform me. I literally rock up looking homeless at work… I look like a bag lady.
“I go into this room, there’s Michelle, there’s Sarah and Mikey, and I come out looking like a Hollywood superstar.
“I love the clothes… I love the dressing room.”

Alison also confirmed that she sometimes borrows Holly’s perfume when the Wylde Moon founder is away.
The former Big Brother star added: “I see what perfume Holly’s been using that week. I have a little spray, don’t tell her.
“I look at her shoes, I look at her clothes…”
Alongside Dermot O’Leary, Alison has been filling in for Holly during this week’s half-term episodes.
On Wednesday’s show, the pair were reduced to giggles by a guest’s wild ‘spanking’ anecdote.
