Bradley Cooper looks nothing like himself in his new Netflix film Maestro, and fans are freaking out on social media.
Looking completely unrecognisable after transforming into his role of composer Leonard Bernstein, Bradley looks worlds away from how we all know and love the hunk when he’s storming the red carpet.
The Hangover star looks so different in one still snap released by the movie, where he has been transformed into a very old version of his character Leonard.
With realistic prosthetics, 47-year-old Bradley doesn’t look like himself at all – and looks decades older with a full head of silver hair and thin framed glasses.
In fact he looks the spitting image of the Broadway icon who created shows like West Side Story.

Taking to Twitter, fans of the Hollywood film star were completely taken aback by his epic transformation.
“Bradley Cooper as Leonard Bernstein……. um what,” penned one.
Another added: “Bradley Cooper looks like a different person entirely!”
“Bradley Cooper omg, f**king totally different. Brad as Leonard Bernstein, can’t wait daddy,” tweeted a third.
A fourth said: “Why makeup artists deserve a stack full of Oscars: Bradley Cooper playing Leonard Bernstein.”

While a fifth chimed in: “Bradley Cooper as Leonard Bernstein feels like it could finally win him the Oscar. Prosthetics check. Real Hollywood legend. Check.”
And a sixth added: “Totally on board for Bradley Cooper’s transformation into Leonard Bernstein. Wow.”
For those not in the know, Maestro follows Leonard Bernstein and his wife Felicia Montealegre, played by Carey Mulligan.
The film is also set to star Stranger Things actress Maya Hawke and Matt Bomer.
The biographical film is based on the life of Leonard and is co-written and directed by Bradley Cooper – as well as him starring as Leonard.

Production began earlier this month, with it gearing up for release on Netflix in 2023.
Speaking to Variety about his new acting role, he explained how he was more interested in being involved in directing it than acting in it.
He explained to the publication: “I [told Spielberg]: ‘I always felt like I could play a conductor, but may I research the material and see if I can write it and direct it? Would you let me do that?'”
