I'm A Celebrity Australia fans all say the same thing as Joey Essex makes debut

When Joey Essex made his debut on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! (Australia) – a lot of fans were confused by the same thing.

The former TOWIE legend, 31, made his debut on the Aussie version of the hit ITV reality show on Monday (January 3).

Joey has joined nine other celebrities on the eighth series of the show – including radio host Dylan Lewis and Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm.

However, many fans were left wondering who Joey was – and many rushed to Twitter to try and work out what he was famous for.

Some admitted that they’d had to search for the reality star on Google in order to find out about him.

Joey starred in the UK version of I’m A Celebrity back in 2013 – alongside the likes of Westlife star Kian Egan, Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter and model Amy Willerton.

He made it to fourth place on the thirteenth series of the British jungle show – and left fans laughing with his cheeky comments.

Last month, the TV star revealed that his jacuzzi was damaged and his pool area was broken after Essex was buffeted by storms.
