I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! viewers have slammed Babatunde Aleshe after he backed out of his first challenge on the ITV show.
Fans took to Twitter following Sunday night’s (November 6) launch episode to call him out and one placed his picture alongside previous winner Danny Miller and former runner-up Jordan North with the caption: “The holy trinity of ‘pretending to be scared so they get voted to do all trials and win over the public’.”
Others chimed in to say that the “British public eat it up every time,” that “the lot of them” are “frauds” and one fan even claimed that “they won’t be falling for it for the third year”.

Someone branded them “shameless” while another simply questioned whether people were “forgetting about Naughty Boy”.
During the first show of the 2022 series, Babatunde was joined by Loose Women star Charlene White and football player Jill Scott as they flew in a helicopter up to the top of a tall building.
The three celebs were ordered to walk across a red plank over the ledge of the building and place themselves at the end.
The planks were eventually retracted and Charlene and Jill were left at the end – but Babatunde was nowhere to be seen.
He had frozen in fear just before he got to the midway point and although he tried to force himself to move, he couldn’t muster the strength.
After leaving Charlene hanging for a while, Aleshe decided to step down and shouted the title phrase of the show so that he could be exempt from the challenge.
Viewers were amazed that someone had backed out so early but were equally in awe at Charlene’s strength as she held on at the end of her plank.
The television presenter was forced to stand with her arms out behind her as she waited for Babatunde and Jill to make their way to the end.

Fans turned to social media to praise the Loose Women host and admitted that they “really like her,” while some simply wondered how she held on for as long as she did.
One viewer praised: “So impressed with Charlene White standing at the end of that plank for so long!”
Another tweeted out: “Jill and Charlene launching themselves off that tower! I got emotional! Well done ladies! You should be so proud!”
