Inside Dancing on Ice pre-final party as Liberty Poole and Rachel Stevens return

The entire celebrity cast of Dancing on Ice has reunited for a much-needed pizza party ahead of the highly-anticipated live final this weekend.

With the big night just days away, finalists Brendan Cole, Kimberly Wyatt and Regan Gascoigne have been putting in the hours to perfect their showstopping routines.

But they’re not the only ones who have been practicing on this ice this week, as the entire celebrity line up has reunited with their professional partners for one last time.

The group are set to take to the ice to show off the skating talents they have perfected throughout their time on the show for one last epic routine.

And it’s clear to see that the team and more than thrilled to be back with their partners as Stef Reid shared the belated pizza party the group held in the kitchen after a long day of training.

Throughout Friday night (March 25), former contestants including Connor Ball and Liberty Poole have been posting on their Instagram Stories about how it has felt to be back on the ice following their eliminations earlier on in the competition.

The entire cast even posed for a group photo on the ice together as Coronation Street ’s Sally Dynevor shared the emotional picture to her Instagram Story after the finished practicing their final routine.

But one star who was noticeably absent from the reunion was rugby star Ben Foden who was voted out in the first week of the competition.

The sportsman has since come under fire after his wife Jackie Smith Foden accused the show of being “pointless and unfair” following his exit from the show.

She took to Instagram to share a lengthy rant about the point of the show which she argued was nothing more than a “popularity competition”.

Jackie wrote: “What’s the point of saying it’s a skate competition when it’s really just a popularity competition?

“Why divide the skaters into two weeks, groups of your choosing, and why not judge all of their scores together after the two weeks?

“What’s the point of having a judging panel when it’s all down to a public vote?”

She went on to argue that people are predominantly kept in due to popularity rather than skill and for that reason, it feels like a waste of time that the celebrities are practicing.

The loving wife continued: “It’s a bit unfair. And we’re a bit sad, the worst skater wasn’t the first to go, I don’t really see the point.

“Yes, it’s how the show makes money but maybe leave the public vote for the save me skate offs or something? Otherwise it’s just kind of pointless to even try.”
