ITV contestant left redfaced as he confesses major crush on stunning Chaser

One adoring contestant on The Chase couldn’t help but blush after he revealed his major crush on one of the infamous Chasers.

During Wednesday’s visit to the ITV studios, TV host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new quizzers onto the show looking to put their general knowledge to the test.

As viewers tuned in for the primetime show, the former Coronation Street star introduced contestants Toby, Annabelle, Dan and Sarah as they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

And first to step up to the plate was retired auctioneer Toby who had raked in an impressive £3,000 during his lightening quick cash builder.

While feeling quietly confident, the 75-year-old was asked which Chaser he would love to take on in the head-to-head round against the professional quizzer – but it’s fair to say he was surprised with his decision.

The silver fox confessed: “I’d love to go against Jenny because she’s so hot!” as he quietly chuckled under his breath.

It was clear to see he wasn’t expecting the auburn-haired beauty to turn the corner as his face dropped with realisation while Bradders welcomed Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan onto the show.

And it appeared as though his raging crush affected his performance on the daytime TV show, after the beloved auctioneer was soon booted from the show.

He wasn’t the only person who struggled to beat the Chaser on the hit gameshow, after Sarah, Annabelle also said goodbye to the show during the tense head-to-head round.

But final player Dan went on to blow The Vixen out of the water after he took back a staggering £80,000 in the adrenaline-pumping one-on-one round.

It was fair to say the contestant turned up the heat as he fought to maintain the eye-watering cash prize in the grand final where he managed to rake in 16 correct questions in the quick-fire round on his own.

And the impressive score was just enough to fight off the Chaser who failed to correctly answer the same number of questions in two minutes.
