ITV News anchor Kylie Pentelow has taken to her Twitter page, revealing that she and her husband Brady are expecting their first child.
The 42 year old. who frequently hosts ITV News West Country and ITV Weekend News. often shares glimpses of her life with her social media followers and her latest revelation left her bursting with pride.
Ahead of her exciting news, Kylie had been keeping fans updated with her festive celebrations as she shared a series of snaps from her trip to Reykjavik, Iceland.
Sharing her news, the broadcaster shared a photograph taken on New Year’s Eve showcasing her blossoming baby bump alongside the caption: “Me on NYE… hopefully, a very exciting year ahead with a new arrival!”
Colleagues rushed to the replies, with ITV Calendar broadcaster Duncan Wood responding: “Congratulations Kylie! Fantastic news!”
ITV London’s Sally Biddulph added: “Awwwwww Kylie, this is lovely news. So thrilled for you xxxx.”
Meanwhile, Matt Teale said: “Congratulations to you both!” alongside a champagne emoji.
Kylie’s thousands of followers were also quick to respond, with one saying: “Awwww… congratulations Kylie and Brady.. exciting times ahead.”
“Congratulations even if it means you’re off our screens,” added a second.
Before a third typed: “Awww that’s fantastic news. CONGRATULATIONS.”
Her husband, Brady Haran OAM, an Australian-British filmmaker and video journalist is yet to comment on their delightful news.
Last year, Kylie faced the ultimate blunder as she accidentally claimed that His Holiness The Pope had died while reporting on his Christmas Day speech, despite him being alive.
The University of Sheffield alumni was discussing the leader of the Catholic Church’s plea for people to be vaccinated against Coronavirus when she made the blunder.
She said: “He said that vaccines should be made available to those most in need,” before seemingly becoming confused adding: “His death was announced… Excuse me.”
While Kylie and Brady are becoming first-time parents, they are currently pet-parents to their chihuahua, Audrey, frequently sharing adorable snaps of their pooch on her Instagram page.
