Starstruck returned to ITV, but viewers couldn’t take their eyes off of Jason Manford’s suit.
It was the penultimate episode of this series of the new ITV talent show, which sees superfans transform into their favourite music stars and take to the stage to sing in front of a star-studded panel of judges.
Saturday night’s celebrity soundalikes did their best to channel Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Amy Winehouse and Lionel Richie in a bid to impress the judges.
Comedian Jason joined co-stars Sherdan Smith, Beverley Knight and Adam Lambert on Saturday night (March 26), but it seems Jason’s suit caused quite the stir on social media.
Manford looked sharp in a fancy blue suit which was encrusted with sparkly diamante crystals.
Eagle-eyed fans rushed to Twitter to talk about the suit, and it seems many weren’t convinced by the outfit.
One fan wrote: “Why is Jason wearing a motion capture suit?”
A second said: “Is @JasonManford creating a CGI version of himself with the markers on his suit?! #Starstruck.”
A third asked: “Why is Jason wearing a motion capture suit? #starstruck”
A fourth agreed: “why is Jason Manford wearing a 3D capture suit…”
However, it appears others were swooning over the TV star during the broadcast.
One user wrote: “Jason Manford is a bit hot isn’t he. Something very attractive about him dancing and singing along!”
The show became emotional on Saturday night when No Return actress Sheridan Smith cried over her late friend Amy Winehouse.
Sheridan had become good pals with Amy after meeting her in the queue for London club Proud Galleries in Camden.
The judge was moved to tears by Team Amy’s performance of Rehab – later saying the trio “did Amy proud”.

Remembering Amy, Sheridan said: “Girls, you’re amazing. You know I did know Amy and she was so much more than the beehive and the tattoos. She was a beautiful soul, a very misunderstood soul, but with the most incredible talent.
She went on to compliment each of the contestants, Patsy, Emily and Ebony for their performances.
Sheridan added: “I think you all really got that tonight. I think Patsy you got the sass. Emily you’re such a sweet girl and actually so was Amy behind all the kind of madness,” she added as she celebrated each of the singers in turn, “And Ebony, the Sheffield girl, don’t stop singing because your voice was bang on and I think you girls did Amy proud, so thank you.”
