The Chase’s Bradley Walsh has made a savage dig at one of his TV guests.
The host made a cheeky dig at a 56-year-old taxi driver from York called Terry during Wednesday’s show (August 10).
When asked what Terry does to relax, he revealed he had a “weird hobby”.
Terry told Bradley: “I have a weird hobby I collect foreign banknotes.”
To which Bradley replied: “I don’t think that’s weird at all I actually quite like that. How much have you got?”
“I’ve probably got about six and a half thousand now,” Terry answered.
Bradley then asked: “Ok, what is the rarest one you’ve got? It’s probably one out of circulation now?”
Terry explained how it was a note from Palestine and he had received an offer for about £1,500 for it,
Which led Bradley to wonder: “So, if you’ve got 6,500 notes that you’ve collected, how much would your collection be worth?”
“£6,000-£10,000 something like that,” the taxi driver revealed.
The ITV host then laughed and said: “Why didn’t you just save your money?
“So, if you were to win some more money what would you do? Buy some more bank notes?” Bradley bantered.
This comes a day after Bradley found out he had something in common with one of his contestants.
On Tuesday (August 9), Bradley welcomed contestant Kay who revealed she shared the same job with Bradley at one point.
Kay said: “I was also an entertainer before I was a student at Pontins and other places,” she replied.
Looking pleased, Bradley said: “Were you a blue coat?”
She nodded and he said: “So, was I.”
