Jeff Brazier's partner ended marriage as she 'didn't want to be stay at home wife'

Jeff Brazier’s wife Kate Dwyer reportedly didn’t want to be a “stay at home wife”, leading to the celebrity couple’s break-up after five years of marriage.

Kate had walked out of their Essex home eight weeks ago and apparently told pals of the news.

Jeff, who revealed he was now at his loneliest, announced the news of their split via Instagram, explaining that the pair had decided to split “earlier this year”.

Talking to his 198,000 followers, he said: “I have so much to be grateful for and I appreciate facing the lessons I need to grow but this year has been challenging to say the least.

“My nine-year relationship ended earlier in the year and I’ve been working through that on top of supporting someone close to me who is going through something difficult. The boys and I have recently moved home to a new area and I spend most of the time alone as the boys obviously have their own things going on,” he said.

Jeff continued: “It’s been constant change this year and I’m good with adapting but the combination of things have left me low at times. I’ve honestly never felt loneliness like it. Can we put Christmas back a few months?!”

He then went on to reveal that he had reached out to friends and family after feeling as though he was struggling to cope and hinted at the effects of losing former partner Jade Goody to cancer.

He wrote: “I have lots of great friends and I know they’re a phone call away but sometimes I find it hard to admit I’m struggling, I have to plug myself back into the friendships that have supported me, surviving 14 years of my focus laying elsewhere.”

“I know there are many of us out there that find it easier to support than be supported but here’s to a better balance of the two in 2023, we need it and deserve it,” Jeff concluded.

The TV star and his PR mogul wife married in 2018 after Jeff lost his first wife Jade Goody to cervical cancer 14 years ago.

Jeff had two children with Jade before her death – EastEnders star Bobby, 19 and Freddie, 18.
