Jennifer Lopez has huge 'diva demands' for her gigs, claims Dannii Minogue

Dannii Minogue has claimed that Jennifer Lopez had some ‘diva demands’ when they worked together on the 90’s tv show Top of The Pops.

Pop star Dannii said on her podcast that J.Lo ‘refused to perform’ unless her dressing room was completely redecorated.

The Australian singer alleged that the Jenny from the block star would only get on stage if her dressing room was repainted in white.

‘And while you hear those diva stories, there is one I can actually vouch for,’ she said on The 90s with Dannii Minogue as reported by Mail Online.

“I was at Top of the Pops and was told Jennifer Lopez was on her way, but she refused to perform unless her backstage room was redecorated.’

‘I was told everything had to be white, including the sofa. I asked to go in and see the room as she wasn’t there in that moment… I was lapping up every detail.”

Dannii said she was confused as to why Jennifer would want an all-white room due to all the body makeup performers often wear.

‘All I could think was, “Girlfriend is covered head to toe in body makeup. How do you sit on a white couch?

This comes after Jennifer Lopez has been praised by fans after referring to her 14-year-old child Emme with gender-neutral pronouns.

The 52-year-old pop star introduced her teen onto the stage for a duet at the LA Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamon Gala in June.

J-Lo called Emme “my favourite duet partner” and used the gender-neutral term ‘they’ when discussing her at the show.

She said: “The last time we performed together was in a big stadium like this and I ask them to sing with me all the time, and they won’t. So this is a very special occasion.

“They are very, very busy, booked and pricey. They cost me when they come out. But they’re worth every single penny because they’re my favourite duet partner of all time. So if you will indulge me.”

Jennifer and the teen dazzled the stadium crowd with a rendition of Christina Perri’s 2011 hit, A Thousand Years.

Emme could be seen sporting a hot pink outfit which included a pink shirt, shorts and matching socks, whilst Jennifer looked glam in a green feathered coat.

At the end of their song, Lopez urged the audience to cheer for her child as she said: “Give it up for my baby.”
