Richard Hammond has revealed he had tons of bust-ups with Jeremy Clarkson whilst shooting the new series of The Grand Tour.
Richard, Jeremy and their Top Gear pal James May have just finished filming the fifth series of The Grand Tour – A Scandi Flick – which hits Prime Video on 16th September.
This time, the car-loving trio pakced their winter coats as they took on the icy regions of Scandinavia, from the coast of Norway to the border of Russia.

However, Richard admitted the feuds between the gang “ramped up” this time, and that he got embroiled in “all-out war” with Clarkson.
Apparently, tensions rose between the two after James May suffered his horror crash, which saw him hit a wall in a tunnel at 75mph and hospitalised.
When asked Richard if the trio clashed during filming, Richard had plenty to say.
Hammond said: “Oh god, it’s endless! I mean we did get a bit bickery about navigation, because when you can’t see and wake up and discover you’re not where you thought you were, that warrants an argument.
“Also, the arguing and rivalry has ramped up a little bit because James had temporarily incapacitated himself due to rank stupidity, and forgetting where the brake pedal is. Jeremy and I just indulged in all-out war between us, which was great fun!”
Quizzed on Clarkson’s hit farming show, Clarkson’s Farm, Richard confirmed he’s definitely tuning in to the next series and that farming is a “genuine passion” of Jeremy’s.
However, it wasn’t without a savage dig as he branded Jeremy the “same bumbling idiot” since the show aired.
Despite the bickering, it’s clear the trio are still fond of one another, and it looks like they haven’t stopped playing pranks on one another.
Richard added: “The great thing about the arguments and the physical pranks we play on each-other is whenever one of us does something awful to one of the others, your first thought if it’s you it’s been done to is always: ‘Yeah well fair enough, I’d have done the same to you if I’d have got the chance!'”
Hammond couldn’t resist poking fun at his pals as he joked it’s been about “115 years” that they’ve worked together, and that it’s “bl**dy annoying seeing the same daft faces every day”.
But he explained that he, Jeremy and James know each other so well at this point that it makes great TV as they know how one another will react to certain situations.
