Jimmy Carr says he can't get cremated as he's got 'too much plastic surgery'

Jimmy Carr joked he wouldn’t be able to get cremated when he dies as he’s had ‘too much plastic surgery’.

The comedian quipped it would be “very dangerous” to go near any flames when he’s popped his clogs due to all the cosmetic work he’s had done over the years.

The TV star suggested he’d have to find an alternative way to dispose of his body on the Christmas special of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, which aired to Channel 4 on Friday night (December 23).

But it didn’t take long for the topic to turn to Jimmy’s mortality as Rose Matafeo asked Jimmy if he wanted get cremated.

It came during a comedic segment where she pulled a cracker with comic Lee Mack and dust came out, prompting her to joke it was her “grandpa’s ashes.”

She asked Jimmy: “Do you think you’ll be cremated, Jimmy?”, but Jimmy replied: “No. I think it would be very dangerous to put this amount of plastic near a fire.”

The whole studio erupted in laughter, with Jack Dee and Jon Richardson among those giggling at the morbid gag.

Jimmy revelaed he’s had several types of cosmetic surgery done in the past, including botox, fillers and his teeth done.

He told Gabby Logon’s Mid-point podcast: “I’ve had a little bit of Botox, some filler – everything I can get done.”

Carr quipped: “My face is now like Trigger’s broom from Only Fools And Horses, very little of the original is still there.”

However, the funny-man stressed it’s not to change his face but rather to keep what’s already there in-tact.

“Maintaining is the thing,” he added. “I don’t think there’s anything you can do plastic surgery wise, or augmentation wise, that makes you look better, you can just sort of stay the same, that’s what you can hope for.”
