Musician John Legend has spoken about his and wife Chrissy Teigen’s decision to go public about the loss of their infant son.
Two years ago, John, 43, and Chrissy’s baby, Jack, was stillborn at 20 weeks.
The pair recently announced they were pregnant again, with John opening up a few days later about the loss of little Jack.

At the time, John and Chrissy shared their news with some black and white photos.
Singer John, 43, spoke about their decision to share the heartbreaking news, saying: “It was difficult, but I think Chrissy was really right in encouraging us to share it because it was powerful for a lot of people.
“Way more people than anyone realised go through this, and I think they feel alone. They told us they felt alone and us sharing our experience helped people.
“I think it was a really powerful, wise decision.”
Chrissy announced the couple’s pregnancy on Wednesday. Taking to Instagram, the model shared a picture of her baby bump, captioning it: “The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. One billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way.”

The couple are already parents to Luna, six, and four-year-old Miles.
Chrissy previously opened up to her 37 million Instagram followers that she was going through the process of IVF.
John recently opened up about his upbringing on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs, saying: “I was at choir rehearsal in the womb, I like to say. We were raised in a house full of music.”
So far, the award-winning musician’s accolades include two Emmys, 12 Grammys, an Oscar and a Tony Award. He chose Aretha Franklin’s Day Dreaming, Stevie Wonder’s As and Beyonce’s Love On Top as his favourite songs.
