Katie Price ‘risks prison’ after pleading guilty to a restraining order breach, a judge has said.
The former glamour model, 44, appeared at Lewes Crown Court today (May 25) to plead guilty to breaching the order against her ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s fiancée Michelle Penticost.
SussexLive now reports that Judge Stephen Mooney has addressed Katie and her counsel following the plea, telling her she is “at risk of going to prison”.
He told her: “Clearly you have accepted responsibility for an offence.
“That means you are at risk of going to prison.”
Her sentencing date has been set for June 24, when she will return to court.
Breaching the terms of the order carries with it a maximum prison sentence of five years – and Katie also risks jail time for being arrested while on licence for her drink-drive crash.
She was initially arrested on January 21 over claims she sent an abusive text message to Michelle, calling her a “c***ing w***e piece of s**t” and a “gutter slag”.
According to MailOnline’s police source, Katie was also believed to have penned an anonymous letter “attacking” Michelle.
The source told the publication earlier this year: “Katie Price was arrested a few weeks ago for breaching a restraining order placed against her following an argument with the fiancée of her former partner, Kieran Hayler.
“Now she is believed to have written an anonymous note attacking Michelle Penticost via one of her family members.
“As such Katie has been charged with harassment and will appear before Crawley magistrates.”
The I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star spent the night in a cell at Worthing Police Station after cops picked her up from her home in Horsham.
She was accompanied by her fiancé Carl Woods as she arrived at court today, with him holding onto her hand as they made their way into the court.
Katie could be seen outside ducking her head to avoid the cameras, as she donned a huge pair of reflective Aviator sunglasses and wore her blonde tresses loose around her shoulders, concealing as much of her appearance as possible.
She opted for a large black coat worn over her clothes and was accompanied by fiancé Carl Woods as she arrived at court, while Carl wore a purple-and-blue checked jacket over a pair of blue jeans.
