Katie Price says she's using fake grass to wallpaper Mucky Mansion in Channel 4 teaser

Katie Price is set to appear in a new Channel 4 series about her giving her rundown home a much-needed makeover.

In a teaser video, Katie, 43, is also seen smashing a chimney pot and knocking the guttering off her roof as she gets stuck in to renovate her beloved 10-acre, 19-room property house.

New show Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion will follow Katie and her family as she tries to turn her house into a happy family home after a dramatic year in her personal life.

Fans know that Katie’s huge Sussex home needs a lot of work to be freshened up, so the family’s project is set to be a big one as the mum-of-five makes sure her kids get involved.

Harvey is seen at the gardening centre with his mum where she buys artificial turf to be used as wallpaper for her youngest son Jett’s bedroom.

Another clip shows Katie at the top of a cherry picker as she knocks guttering off the side of the house after accidentally dropping a chimney pot off the roof.

Katie said about the show: “My house has been called the Mucky Mansion in the past, but it’s not that any more, I’m making it a home.

“I’m getting my hands dirty and doing a lot of the work myself and, with the help of my amazing family and some brilliant friends, I’m putting the past behind me and rebuilding.

“My house is a bit like my life, it’s being put back together like I’m being put back together.”

Clemency Green, commissioning editor for Channel 4, said: “I’m thrilled to have commissioned Captive Minds Media’s first projects for Channel 4.

“In Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion, we see a different side to Katie and learn more about her battle with mental health, as well as seeing her close bond with her family. It’s compelling viewing.”

Katie is also set to appear in a one-off documentary named Katie Price: Trauma and Me, which will explore her mental health struggles after her drink-drive crash.

The seat was given a 16-week suspended sentence for drink-driving and crashing her car in December while she was disqualified and without insurance, and has since said “traumatic events” led to the crash.
