Katie Price’s life is set to take centre stage in a new documentary about being one of the most recognised names in the UK.
While Katie is the subject matter of the programme she will not be taking part in the production and it will instead feature an array of her friends – and enemies.
Katie, 44, will only appear via archive footage and stills in the show, which is being made by Firecracker Films, the production company responsible for titles including The Sex Clinic, Open House: The Great Sex Experiment and Emma Willis’ Delivering Babies.

A source told The Sun: “The doc will cover her early career — from posing for Playboy to meeting Peter Andre on I’m A Celebrity, then speak to friends and former friends about what’s happened since,” a source told The Sun.
“They’ll use old clips of Katie on Big Brother and her reality show, as well as have friends spilling long-forgotten showbiz secrets.
“Filming starts next week and a lot of celebs don’t want to be involved because of how toxic Katie’s brand has become in recent years.”
Insiders also explained that the feature-length documentary will feature Katie’s relationship with her eldest son Harvey and details of her work as a disability campaigner.
Katie’s recent troubles with the law will also play a part in the feature, including her restraining order breach that saw her narrowly escape prison.
Katie was given an 18-month community order for 170 hours of unpaid work in June after she plead guilty to breaching ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s fiance Michelle Penticost’s restraining order against her.
Katie originally rose to fame as a glamour model under the pseudonym Jordan and became a household name in the 90s and 00s.
She is currently engaged to former Love Island star and Essex-based car salesman Carl Woods, 32.
Daily Star has contacted Katie’s representatives for comment.
