Lady Victoria Hervey is set to attend the Cannes Film Festival later this month in a stunning Scott Henshall dress.
The 45-year-old model and socialite will make an appearance on the event’s red carpet in an ode to independent film as part of a pioneering new project called FilmCoin.
Her metallic gold gown – which has been named the FilmCoin golden gown – comes as part of a fashion and film culture collaboration with her close friend and iconic designer Scott Henshall, who is famous for designing iconic gowns including the web of lace Jodie Kidd wore to the Spider-Man premiere.
Scott also designed the so-called ‘World’s Most Expensive Dress’ which was worn by Samantha Mumba.
FilmCoin holders will then have the opportunity to purchase the garment as an exclusive limited edition NFT.
Of the collaboration, Lady Victoria said: “I support FilmCoin to help secure the future of British filmmaking, which is very important to me.
“Wearing Scott’s incredible dress will be another way to draw to attention to the UK’s amazing creative talent and how film fans can take their passion & support for the film to the next level with FilmCoin.”
Scott Henshall added: “I’m delighted to be collaborating with Lady Victoria on a fabulous dress celebrating British film & encapsulating everything that FilmCoin represents; which is Daring, Fabulous and The Future!”
The garment will form part of FilmCoin’s world-first NFT movie collectables range.
Established by a team including actor and producer Terry Stone, FilmCoin is a motion picture digital currency.
It was set up with the aim of creating an exciting and fresh new way to finance movies and decentralise film and TV production.
Among her memorable fashion looks, Lady Victoria sent fans wild in 2018 by going underwear-free in a see-through crochet dress.
