Love Island host Laura Whitmore has sent fans into a frenzy with a hint that the show’s winter version is returning.
On Tuesday (Jan 18), Laura, 36, posted an intriguing photo for her 1.5 million Instagram followers.
The former model posed with a supersized replica of the iconic Love Island winter bottle, and was also wearing wintery clothes including a gorgeous cobalt blue faux fur-lined coat.
She topped off the look with a baker boy hat
The mum-of-one seemed to be behind the scenes on a Love Island photoshoot, as she was at ITV’s London headquarters.
Laura playfully captioned the picture: “Thirsty?”
Fans were intrigued by Laura’s cryptic clues, with one Instagram user writing: “Winter love island??”
Another fan left the comment: “Is this a hint?
Laura quickly limited the comments on the post.
Winter Love Island aired in January 2020 and was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa rather than the Majorcan villa that ITV2 viewers know so well from the regular series.
Paige Turley and Finley Tapp are currently the spin-off show’s reigning winners, as the winter edition was not picked up for a follow-up season thanks to the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Love Island’s Liberty Poole, currently competing in Dancing On Ice, has dismissed the idea of romance with her professional skating partner Joe Johnson.
The blonde beauty told new! magazine about her relationship with Joe, 27.
She said: “We get on so well. We’re very similar. He is just the biggest ball of energy and now he’s like a brother to me.
“We have the best time, we’re always laughing and having fun. I definitely think you’ll see that. We’ll be the entertainment and the silly ones. I don’t think Joe goes for me. We’re just the best of friends.”
She also said: “I got the call [from Dancing on Ice] on my birthday, I was so excited. As a kid growing up watching the show, you never think one day you’ll be on it.”
