Little Mix 'have made a deal' not to fight each other in the charts after split

The Little Mix trio have agreed not to take each other on in the charts after they split, says Perrie Edwards.

In their ‘final’ interview with The Sun, the 28-year-old songstress revealed that they had made the pact to avoid releasing singles head-to-head in the Top 40 once they start their own solo projects.

The former X Factor contestants have recorded five UK number 1 singles as a group, as well as winning three Brit Awards with seven albums.

They also hold the record for the most nominations and award wins for the Best UK & Ireland category at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Perrie, 28, told The Sun : “We’ve all said we will let each other know when we’re going to release so we don’t end up clashing in the charts. We’re rooting for each other, not competing against each other.”

Leigh-Anne added: “We are so close and that’s the thing. We’re all going to be in communication about this the whole time.”

Perrie also divulged that the girls have already had chats with each other about a reunion only days before they break up.

Detailing their plans to get back together in the future, she said: “We know how phenomenal we are together, so why would we never want to do that again?

“Change has to happen in life. You have to move on at some point and try new things, but it’s such a comfort to know we have each other to come back to.

Perrie also revealed that they have already discussed a reunion before they have even split

“We don’t know how long this will be for, but I’m already ready for that reunion!”

Little Mix confirmed they would be going on a ‘break’ back in December after ten years of performing together.

The three members left in the groups posted a heartfelt message on their group Instagram account, which has left fans heartbroken across the globe.

The statement read: “We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix.

“It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects.”
