Loose Women chaos as stars 'refuse to work with Coleen Nolan' after Nadia fallout

The cast of Loose Women are reportedly at war, with some of the ITV show’s panellists said to be refusing to appear alongside Coleen Nolan.

The main fallout has allegedly occurred between Coleen, 56, and Nadia Sawalha, 57, after Coleen’s agent took a swipe at Nadia on Twitter.

Reacting to a clip which featured Nadia saying no one was harder on her than she was, agent Melanie Blake wrote last year: “It’s a shame she ‘officially’ gave up acting because Nadia deserve an Oscar for this speech.

“In 20 years of repping clients I never saw a nastier side to anyone than I did of her & I’m not alone.

“Her constant ‘be kind’ etc speeches are so ironic considering she is a total witch.”

Now several other Loose Women stars are apparently refusing to work with Coleen, reports The Mirror.

The Mail On Sunday report: “Nadia Sawalha has told the lunchtime chat show’s producers that she will no longer appear alongside Ms Nolan after the singer’s agent, Melanie Blake, called the actress a ‘nasty witch’ on social media.”

The report goes on to claim that Carol McGiffin and Stacey Solomon are also refusing to work with Coleen.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: “Stacey is the latest person refusing to work with Coleen, which is proving really tricky. Everyone loves Stacey, as do the viewers, so nobody wants to upset her.

“It’s a show that is supposed to promote strong women working together, respecting one another’s views, but it’s currently the case that what is going on behind the scenes is quite the opposite of that and much more dramatic.”

The fallings-out are said to be creating a logistical headache for producers of the hit show as they try to balance out the panel and to avoid upsetting any of the ladies.

An ITV spokesperson told the Mail on Sunday: “Panellists are chosen for each show by the editor and senior production team, not the panellists themselves.”

The Daily Star has approached both Coleen and Nadia’s representatives for comment.

Coleen previously quit Loose Women in 2011 having originally joined the show in 2000 – but rejoined again in 2012.

During her brief time away from the talk show, she said: “I don’t miss Loose Women one bit. It was hard and there was so much b*tching.”
