The Apprentice boss Lord Alan Sugar has blasted employees who work from home as “lazy gits” and called for them to be given a pay cut.
Sugar, 75, has expressed his fury about “lazy” staff who carry out their jobs remotely, accusing them of slacking off, fuming: “Most watch more TV than work.”
The hot-tempered entrepreneur has now posted a blistering rant on social media after watching a segment on Good Morning Britain when the panel debated on whether it’s time to start subsidising employees who work from home.

During the debate, business owner Geeta Sidhu-Robb argued that employees working remotely actually saves businesses money and that workers should be valued wherever they carry out their jobs.
Tina Knight, however, said that employees working from home are saving money on travel costs and it’s not viable for many companies to pay their employees more.
The debate left Lord Sugar seeing red as he took to social media to blast the idea of workers being paid more and instead called for pay cuts for remote workers.
He raged: “GMB are saying people who work from home should be paid more to keep warm as companies are saving money while the workers are away.
“RUBBISH they have to pay rent, heating, and rates with or without a full workplace. People should be paid less they are saving travel costs.”
Many fans took to the comments to challenge him on his views, with one claiming that: “People should be paid more because there’s more money available when businesses are saving money not paying rent.”
Not one to hide his true feeling, Lord Sugar blasted back: “What planet are you living on? Businesses are not saving any money they have to pay rent, heating, and rates for the buildings they occupy. Sorry, you are talking rubbish.”
He went on to tweet another post, raging that “A large percentage of people who work from home are lazy gits they got to like the life created by the lockdown.
“What about nurses, doctors, cleaners, restaurant staff, builders and decorators, taxi and truck drivers who can’t work from home but provide the lazy gits a service.”
One fan fumed back: “How absolutely insulting. The majority of people who work from home are more likely to work longer and outside the normal office hours. #WorkFromHome.”
Lord Sugar replied by calling them “deluded”.
