Lorraine Kelly has taken a thinly-veiled swipe at singing sensation Adele following her epic BRIT Awards return.
The 62-year-old presenter was back on our screens on Wednesday morning to host her self-titled ITV talk show.
She kicked off the programme but discussing all the gossip from the BRIT Awards with showbiz correspondent Ria Hebden and fashion guru Mark Hayes.
The trio opened up about Adele’s flawless performance on her hit song I Drink Wine.
She belted out the track wearing a glam gold dress whilst sitting on top of a grand piano.
The simplistic but stunning performance didn’t go unnoticed by Lorraine.

The ITV star said: “She should have just done that in Vegas. She looked comfortable.
“Thats all people want.”
Lorraine comments come after Adele pulled the plug on her Las Vegas residency last month.
The Hello hitmaker continues to face backlash for leaving fans thousands of pounds out of pocket when cancelled on her Stateside shows with just 24 hours notice.

Several fans took to social media to react to Adele’s performance at the awards show, with one writing: “I wonder if they’re showing this Adele #Brits performance in Las Vegas? Too soon?”
Another added: “You playing Vegas now? Band seem OK on the Brits! @Adele/”
A third viewer wrote: “So Adele can’t manage her concerts in Vegas, which by the way cost the earth, but she can turn up to the Brits where she’s won awards and is basically headlining the show.”

A fourth social media penned: “No hate to Adele but how can she cancel her Vegas residency and then come and perform at the Brits.”.
Adele did not address criticism over her cancelled Vegas residency during the awards show.
It was a successful night for the star who took home the Best Song Award for Easy On Me, Album Of The Year for 30 and the Artist Of The Year award.

Conversation quickly turned to Adele’s three outfits as well as the huge sparkler on her engagement finger.
The ring prompted speculation on social media that she is engaged to her sports agent boyfriend Rich Paul.
However, Lorraine didn’t seem convinced that Adele is set to tie the knot.
“I think she just wants to mess with people,” the presenter said.
