Lorraine Kelly didn’t mince her words as she appeared to take a subtle swipe at singer Shania Twain.
During the latest episode of her self-titled ITV show, the 63 year old gave her honest opinions on the singer’s latest performance at the People Choice Awards.
But when discussing her appearance on the red carpet before the event, Lorraine appeared to make a dig at Shania’s choice of clothes.

As the programme shared clips of Shania on the star studded carpet, Lorraine chimed: “Not everyone can pull it off and I’m not convinced she has.”
Later on in the show, Lorraine debated the look with entertainment reporter Ross King.

Although the presenter agreed that the singer looked great regardless, she was evidently confused by the practicality of the Shania’s frock.
Appearing via video link, Ross said: “There’s a little bit of mesh over the fingers as well. It’s a little bit tricky that one.
“As you would say, tricky one to pull off,” he added.
Lorraine replied: “Not very practical, but I have to say she’s fabulous, isn’t she?
“She does do the leopard skin, I always remember from that fantastic video.”

She continued: “I mean she is incredible, but mesh on your fingers. How do you go to the loo in things like that, we wonder?
“But hey if you got it, go for it!”
Despite her attempt at being positive, some viewers appeared to agree with Lorraine, with one viewer writing on Twitter: “Who told Shania Twain that this looked good whoever that was needs firing.”
Shania played homage to her look from the music video for her popular song, That Don’t Impress Me Much.

In the video for the 90s classic, Shania was draped head to toe in leopard skin material as she strutted her stuff in the desert.
On the red carpet, Shania elevated the 90s inspired outfit with mesh that elegantly covered her torso, arms and chest.
She also wore a hood over her striking pink hair.
During the 47th Annual Awards show, Shania won the Music Icon Award and took to the stage to sing a number of her songs.
