Louis Walsh has been a familiar face in the entertainment industry for decades.
As well as managing the careers of some of the most successful artists and bands, the Irish star was a judge on the X Factor for a number of years.
Louis wasn’t afraid to give his honest opinion during his time on the show, which often landed him in hot water with the contestants and his fellow judges.

But in regards to his own personal relationships, the manager behind Boyzone and Westlife hasn’t been particularly outspoken.
So, what’s the truth about Louis Walsh’s love life?
Here, Daily Star looks into the music manager’s past relationship confessions, as well as his Vegas ‘wedding’ with former colleague Caroline Flack.
Caroline Flack ‘marriage’
While Louis has remained fiercely private about his personal life, he hasn’t been afraid to poke fun in the past.
In 2012, he jokingly walked down the aisle with Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack during a spoof on the show.
The pair got hitched at the infamous Little White Chapel in Las Vegas by an Elvis Presley impersonator.
After arriving in Sin City ahead of the judge’s house stage, Louis and Caroline exchanged vows at the chapel before sealing their romance with a kiss.
However, the union was disrupted when Sharon Osbourne made a dramatic entrance.
But while the hilarious spoof was clearly staged for the show, Louis has always been fond of Caroline.
Following her tragic death in February 2020, the music manager paid a touching tribute to his former colleague.
He said: “I really liked her, she was great fun and just a pleasure to be around. She spoke her mind and was always up for a laugh.”
Sharon Osbourne romance rumours
Louis and Sharon were thick as thieves whilst judging on the X Factor.
Much to the dismay of fellow judge Simon Cowell, the pair were often seen in fits of laughter on the ITV programme.
In fact, they were often spotted mingling together outside of the show.
Louis once said: “We have great fun and we go out for dinner an awful lot. She’s great fun.”
However, the former colleagues weren’t always so close.
During an appearance on This Morning, Louis revealed that Sharon previously “hated” him before making their judging debut.
He explained: “She didn’t like me at all cos I sla**ed off Kelly [Osbourne]. Her vocal.”
Thankfully, the pair are closer than ever now. He told the Sunday Mirror’s Notebook Magazine: “I’m so close with both her and Ozzy.”
Opening up on his sexuality
Louis has remained extremely tight-lipped about his love life over the years.
From what is appears, the star has never been married and has never publicly acknowledged anyone as a partner.
Back in 2013, Louis briefly addressed his sexuality after refusing to answer a question during an interview with the Sunday Times.
When asked, he replied: “I can’t… Don’t go there. I can’t.
“I think your private life is your private life… I’m happy. Happy as Larry!”
But while the star has refrained from speaking about his personal matters, Simon Cowell appeared to make a joke about Louis’ sexuality back in 2016.
It came after the judges watched contestant Matt Terry perform Wham!’s I’m Your Man on the X Factor.
Louis said that he didn”t really like the song choice and called it karaoke.
However, Simon then remarked: “This is the first time Louis has said I don”t like I”m Your Man.”
