Love Island fans were left baffled after Ikenna Ekwonna didn’t understand what a raisin was.
Saturday night’s instalment of the hit ITV2 dating show brings viewers the unseen bits from inside the villa over the past week and tonight’s was the first of the series.
While sat around the firepit, Luca asked the boys what their best chat up lines are before revealing his one has “never failed.”
He said: “What do you think about raisins?,” before Ikenna, 23, asked: “Like the food?”
Luca continued: “Do you like raisins? No? How do you feel about a date though?”
“I don’t get it? I don’t get it?” Ikenna repeated before questioning: “What’s a raisin?”

“Yeah because you’re not going to give a raisin on a date,” Dami chimed
Ikenna quipped: “But what’s a raisin?”
“Mate, so a raisin is similar to a date isn’t it?,” Luca explained.
Asking again, Ikenna said: “What’s a raisin?”
Andrew then jumped in and explained: “Raisins and dates are like the same thing.”
“The food?,” a baffled Ikenna asked.
Ikenna eventually understood Luca’s joke and couldn’t contain how much he loved it, even going on to use it later in the episode.

Viewers watching tonight’s instalment (June 11) were straight on social media and were baffled over Ikenna not knowing what a raisin was.
One wrote: “Not ikenna asking what a raisin is. This surely isn’t the same person who works for big big AstraZeneca?”
“Not Ikenna asking what a raisin is smh I’m crying,” another penned.
While a third tweeted: “NOT IKENNA ASKING “what’s a raisin” im gonna cry.”

Several viewers on the other hand thought the interaction was hilarious and believe Ikenna’s personality isn’t being shown properly in episodes that air during the week.
“Nah I’m actually upset with the editors/producers. IKENNA ACTUALLY HAS A PERSONALITY,” one said.
Another wroted: “We only seeing Ikenna’s personality in Unseen Bits…nah they did him dirty.”
“These unseen bits have really shown ikenna and it’s so funny to see,” a third quipped.
