Love Island fans were delighted at a moment of comic relief from Davide Sanclimenti during a tense showdown between Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page on Friday’s episode.
The couple, who had looked rock-solid up until Casa Amor, were heavily involved in Friday’s show, with the duo trying to work out their situation after Andrew had coupled up with Coco after an X-rated bedroom exercise.
But it was at the episode’s climax where things got extremely heated – when Coco revealed to Tasha just what Andrew had done.

She then informed the rest of the girls on the island, leading to a split in the camp, girls on one side comforting Tasha, boys across the garden.
As Andrew strolled by a sobbing Tasha, she lashed out calling him a liar.
It was here where Davide chimed in with “Tasha, that’s my line” – referencing his blazing argument with Ekin-Su earlier in the series.
His timing could’ve been better, which the girls then let him know by saying “Not right now Davide.”
But people online loved the intervention, with one person writing: “DAVIDE, YOU ARE HILARIOUS BUT NOT NOW.”
A second chimed in with: ” Davide sits, eats, makes one funny comment & then calls it a day”
The Italian stallion didn’t get a lot of airtime but he made use of what little he got tonight, with one person writing: “Davide said only one thing that whole episode and it was a belter he was holding bench tonight and came on scoring a screamer like a super sub”
“Davide ‘s only contribution this ep was ‘that’s my line, tasha’ and i love him for it” added another person.
While another user said it proved why Davide and Ekin-Su needed to make the final, tweeting: “‘Thats my line’ – See this is why Davide and Ekin Su need to stay till the end. They bring constant entertainment.”
The episode ended with the news that a public vote and a dumping was incoming on Sunday – leaving every couple at risk.
Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2
