Love Island fans have been left in disbelief after learning Adam Collard’s real age, after he was confirmed to be returning to the show.
The Geordie lad first appeared on the ITV2 show in 2018 on the fourth series, which is where he met now ex-girlfriend Zara McDermott.
There was confusion over his age the first time he was on the show and now, at the age of 26, viewers reckon he looks much older than he says he is.

Sharing his 2022 promo pic, one Twitter user said: “At first I thought it’s going to be awkward with him being so much older than the other islanders, but then I looked it up.

“Adam was only 22 his first time on the show? How? Also, how hard has he been living that his face looks like this at age 26?”
Another said: “Not me looking up how old Adam is and now reeling because we are the same age.”
A third wrote: “I thought Adam was someone’s famous uncle. 26 years of age? Ok.”

Someone else wrote: “Still don’t believe Adam’s age!:
A fifth said: “Adam still lying about his age I see.”
And another added: “Not Adam back in Love Island the kid’s about 37 years of age.”
Adam had been 22 the first time around he was in the villa but due to his facial hair and very muscular frame, fans thought he looked older.
His first round in the villa didn’t go down too well either after he was seen laughing at Rosie Williams when she confronted him about ditching her to go for Zara.
Since the news of Adam’s return was confirmed, Rosie made it clear she wasn’t too happy.
She shared a screengrab of her looking unimpressed from her time in the villa.

Meanwhile, Zara reacted herself too as she was seen on boyfriend Sam Thompson’s Instagram story screaming when she saw her ex Adam.
The duo were together for around eight months after their time in the villa.
